No one will deny the case. You will get NOID notice to deny and if you don't respond then it is denied. So you still have lot of time to respond.

AC 21 allows you to change jobs 21 times. :)
come on, once you complete 180 days you are a free bird on EAD. Enjoy it. The only limitation is that you need to work on same or similar job and similar salary. everything else is sugar.

sky..definetly wait..they are going to introduce i140 premium processing for eb3 next month, and for eb2 maybe a month later. then for 1000 bucks you can have your i140 cleared ..(there is a good possibility it will clear by itself before that)

But I have one idea of coming event. If we can make some Balloon and give it to chridlen during the even and wrote somehing on the ballon will be helpful.
Plus, I had saw that some real estate company use the super biggest ballon on sky to show their company adverstiment.
USCIS transfer our flowers to hositpal is a good training program for us to learn how to get the public attention. We need some Marketing major guys to give us more fresh idea to attrach Public attention.
I can not go , but if you guy need. I can controbute the money. And I think most of people cannot go will contribute the money or make the orders for the Balloon.

Good point. I am just studying the trade off between "career" and "likability" of job or the job you love. I agree with you about money. I am not just for money or I do not want to be in rat race. (If money is the only goal we all can do real estate bussiness in India) After spending 10 years in engineering, I want to change the field. Even I am ready to go with little less than what I make now. . The main reason is I want to have just relaxing job, not much stress. At the same time it should be a longterm. I thought QA may be one of the field. I do not know yet it is a right thought.
IF you are not in for money there are many stress less jobs than the ones you asked about. You can have stressful job in any field and same is true for the opposite. I know a lot many in engineering that have stress free jobs. Not sure what made you thinking that being SAP consultant is stress free.
If you like teaching and don't have any criminal back ground consider teaching little kids. Most pleasant I can imagine. Work in post office.....VERY QUITE.....

I have a lawyer who is representing me..so he got the RFE & he fowarded it to me. In your case i would just call USCIS and check to see if you will recieve RFE's since you don't have a lawyer representing you.

My friend's PERM got approved in 5 days in Dec '09. His I-140 got approved in 3 weeks in March '10. This could be an exceptional case as I have not seen any other such approvals..

I have a few questions and much thanks for those who answer.
1. I have had a H1-B in 2002, but I did not get a stamping. I quit my job and went back to school. I'm out of school now, do not have an OPT (second masters) and worried about the cap.
I heard that people who have held H1-B's in the past do not come under the cap. Is this true?
2. A company is interested in hiring me but only in the muiddle of August (they want to conduct a few more interviews). The cap would most likely be reached by then. Do I have any other options?

1. check if ur H1 sal =Sal Received (considering 8k)
If sal received - 8K > H1 Sal , then its difficult for you to claim unless he has given you some hike
2 Does any of the pay checks mention any advance ?
3 If you have to return 8k, you can ask him to reduce the tax which u have paid which will be 30% So you might return 5.5K

While I was out, the office of Congress called my home last night in regards to the email i sent them a month ago about the GC retrogression and H1B shortage. They asked me to return their call, I hold off calling them back because I'm confused of what to say, the thing is i don't want to disclose where I work (don't want to get my company involved). But really I am not sure what they have called me for given that email i sent them. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Well contextually speaking...immigration benefits are for Cubans living in Cuba and for those who are already living here (BTW 75% of the total Cuban population in the US live in Fla so no surprises on the "vote bank" politics here) they are already US citizens.

I would like to clarify one thing....
Are these Certifications from Sun Microsystems, Oracle and IBM consider as supporting documents for 4 year degree or equivalent to any educational qualifications or experience?
I mean, people are doing these certifications even with out a job or while on bench....
I do not want to degrade or project these certifications in low profile or so, I do know the value of these certifications while searching for a job, but could not understand how they will help you in education or experience with USCIS.
Correct me if I am wrong.....
